Americans for the Arts' Arts Pedagogy Network provides arts education leaders and professionals with networking and professional development opportunities, as well as tools and resource needed to strengthen arts education in their own communities. Members of the Arts Education Network represent a cantankerous-section of arts instruction leaders, including arts administrators, teaching artists, school administrators, and representatives from higher didactics.

Registration is now open for the 2022 Americans for the Arts Annual Convention! A live, in-person event will be held May xviii-20 in Washington, D.C., and recorded content from the live event volition be made available for a fee in a limited time digital on-need format in June 2022. To maintain health and safety protocols, there is a firm registration borderline of May two, 2022, to attend the in-person event.

Americans for the Arts has begun work to redefine its role as a national service organization and support of the field. To that end, we are pleased to denote two recent hires to fill pivotal roles for the organization. Adrianne R. Troilo joined as vice president of People and Culture in December 2021, and Daniel Fitzmaurice will begin as the master of staff on Apr 4. Both positions are newly created to provide leadership in areas vitally needed to successfully accomplish our mission and achieve a people-first civilisation.

Americans for the Arts recently joined 12 arts and education advancement groups to releaseA Shared Endeavor: Arts Instruction for America'south Students.

This statement articulates the purpose and value of arts didactics in the balanced curriculum of all students, asserts its place equally a core academic field of study, and details how sequential arts learning can exist supported past rigorous national standards and assessments.

The model is predicated on the convergence the skills and expertise of several members of the arts education ecosystem: arts educators, community arts organizations and non-arts educators.
